We moved into our flat over the weekend. It´s nice although we clearly don´t understand how the water heater works as we have yet to experience hot water. And I´m pretty sure the washing machine is broken — I can´t get the door to open. Luckily, I tried it out without clothes in it to begin with. There are no dryers here so everything is dried on a line on the patio. The t.v. is all in Spanish so we watched Gran Treno in Spanish last night for awhile. The t.v. seems to old to recognize that we want it to use English subtitles. We did manage to get Spanish subtitles to Spanish speaking shows though. It´s pretty much not helpful. I need to figure out how to get internet service — I have yet to find an unsecured wireless network to use! I did manage to get myself a library card this morning but my time is nearly up! Hopefully, we will get internet soon and I can post and share pictures every day!

Blue Lake Trail
As I started this post, I thought how I would share about the Blue Lake trail itself; how steep it was, how exposed it was, how well a family could hike it, how many switchbacks there were, and how busy the trail was. But as I sat to write, thought, started sentences and deleted them, […]
Summer 2017
We had an amazing summer! Really, it was awesome! We finally were able to buy another mini-van (we sold our last Sienna to pay for our plane tickets to Spain), we put our mail on hold and took off for adventures around Washington state. We spent most of our days out exploring and […]
Granada, Spain
Granada was the last of the three cities we visited over Christmas break. With the fact that we would be there be that we would be there for four nights during the holidays, I tried to find a place where I didn’t also have to pay for parking. As parking added considerable cost to the hostels […]
Amazing you are all moved in! Sounds like my old washer; had to leverage with a knife while pulling on the latch.
