One other party goer is missing from this photo, as is Lavender.

Well it seems not having enough children at October’s party really shouldn’t have been a worry at all.  In total there were 14 kids!  Holy Cow!  I had planned on 11 based on RSVP’s then 2 more kids showed up and I hadn’t figured Lavender would want to participate in the game…so 14 kids trying to walk a cake walk with 12 squares.  Lavender didn’t know she was bumped but poor Scarlett had to give up her space in the cake walk and her goodie bag so all the guests could get one.  We promptly went to the party store to buy her a whole bag of her very own “gold” chocolate coins that she had been most sad to give up from the goodie bag.  October had a great time.  She had kids from girl scouts, kids from the Y daycare, neighbor kids and kids from her kindergarten block class!  We spent all morning curling her hair — she was crazy excited!

The kids had a great time playing in the Adventure Zone for the first half of the party and then they had cake & ice cream, a cake walk to “win” their goodie bag and October opened gifts.  The last half was a whirlwin.

October was crazy in the Adventure Zone.  They are dressed in their Little Mermaid Costumes.

This is the first time Lavender gets to play in the big kids room.  Usually she has to stay in the baby room still.  She was super excited!

Time to go home!
