Good-bye Polk-a-dots -

We are remodeling our house right now. I’ve done all the touch-up paint in the master bedroom, Jeff fixed the chair railing and tore out the carpet. I worked on repainting the girls room to match the rest of the house so we had to say good-bye to the polk-a-dots. I still remember picking the paint colors for if it was a boy or a girl. And I remember painting all the polk-a-dots on the wall. Scarlett is rather upset about the loss of the dots. She has already shed many tears over them. Their room will now have the brown that matches our bedroom and then a red stripe that matches the red accent fireplace wall from the living room. I think we’ll also add a stripe of dark brown above & below the red stripe as well. It should look good when we’re finished.
